I made some chive vinegar last week - can't bear being left out of the game ! I had some white wine vinegar that I'd picked up from somebody's cupboard clear out so used that. Also added some sugar, as I would with mint sauce as I'm not a great fan of vinegar.

I've both the chive flowers and the vinegar but there's no way I'm combining the two. Like you Veggie not a fan of vinegar, it spoils fish and chips. P likes it but he's not getting chive vinegar any time soon. The lad would drink it if he had the chance, strange being, I blame his parents.

I love vinegar and will definitely be making chive vinegar when I get the chance! My sister has loads of chives that escaped her raised beds and are growing all over the paths. She wants me to come dig some out. That, and lots of strawberry plants that she wants rid of.
Then I'll make chive vinegar. And perhaps strawberry vinegar too!
