This week, I got out of going to a family wedding - my great nephew's. Its been postponed 3 times because of Covid. Fortunately, the service was restricted to 20 guests and there were plenty of deserving family who wanted to be there - so I gave up my seat.
My main reason for not going is that I'd have had to buy something to wear and the thought of wearing something respectable was scary. I sent my apologies and signed it "From the Mad Old Aunt". I've no idea how they knew it was me.

Well, this has gone out the window!!
New stuff I have done in the last few months -
Learned to make concrete, use (and clean ) a concrete mixer, use a plate vibrator, learned how to fit wooden cladding for my new shed and the extension.
Non building related things, ummm.
Made gravalax for the first time - brave or foolish as I was feeding it to a Scandi friend!
Played petanque for the first time.

My first - I've had a flu jab in a pharmacy - about 30 minutes ago! So much easier than going to the doctor's surgery.

Jen, my Pharmacy (Well) messaged about a month ago, saying they were taking bookings, starting last week I think? I booked online.
