If it's a squirrel, fox or a tree burying these eggs, where are they getting them from?

This is some post, started off with a tree that buries eggs, then squirrels that buries foxes, now someone looking for magic trees to lay a lawn, never heard of magic trees, so would mushrooms do, though I think there are some here who have found them already

Didn’t know trees buried eggs Scarlet.
Any further forward with the mystery?

All I can assume is a Fox is stealing eggs and bringing them here to hide. Lots of foxes here now. I gave up chicken keeping because I couldn't keep them out.

Unfortunately it is getting close to little fox time so guess they are stashing goodies ready for it.
