I’ve decides to make a portion of my front garden available for growing wild flowers. I found a tub of mixed meadow flowers and I’m wondering if now is the time to shake the seeds, I’ve already shaken some grass seed over the area about 2 weeks ago.
Suggestions and tips very welcome.

I started my efforts at 'meadow production' last year with two largish areas on my lawn. I haven't cut it all year and have had a couple of wild flower mixes, one I broadcast and the other I sowed in modules and transplanted into areas. I have now cut the grass to 100mm for the winter to tidy it up and let the cuttings fly to hopefully allow self seeding.
I will be interested to see what comes up once the growing season starts again.
