Finished boot camp and boxing this morning then jumped in the motorhome with Kato and after a 2 1/2 hour drive where I was nearly blown off the motorway then a dodgy drive along Ullswaters narrow roads I am presently at Ambleside at the top of Kirkstone Pass.(Had to use 1st gear twice on the way up) Worth coming just for the view though and looking forward to the sunrise! We will be staying here tonight (As it's free) and then moving on I know not where tomorrow! Returning home Monday afternoon.

I used my new toaster for the first time. It a 3 in 1 thing. So 2 more elements to play with.

Oooh exciting, is it one of those Ninja 3 in 1 jobbies?  Let us know how you get on with it.

It is a ninja 3 in 1 . I really like it so far. It’ll be get packed up again probably later today. Because it’s a new kitchen toy. Not a caravan kitchen toy.

Decided my garden needs some winter colour so just ordered a Cornus Sanquinea 'Winter Beauty' dogwood which has flame colourd stems.

Also on doing something new, I have decided to make some bone broth?. YS beef bones cooked in air frye first then added to pan of water and boiled? An interesting experiment. Smile

I picked a Mashua leaf and ate it. I've never grown Mashua before so that is new to me - but I heard that the leaves were edible, as well as the root. Its a member of the nasturtium family and has that slightly peppery, cabbagey taste and texture. Probably good chopped in salad.

Did it get troubled by aphids or flea beetle,  like every nasturtium I've ever grown has? I've come to the conclusion that it's just not worth growing them.

Haven't seen any pests on it and I seem to have whitefly on just about everything this year.
