Had a dream the other night, was wandering around a supermarket searching for yellow sticker items.
After that at the fish counter looking a 2 salmon.
Obviously related to recent threads, what a marvelous thing the brain is!

I spotted he salmon displayed in Morrisons, a Head and two fillets. What the hell anyone is going to do with the head (unless you are veggie of course!) is anyones business! Chooks might eat it?
Reminds me of a Geordie? song "What'll ya dee with a fishes heed, mek it inta a loaf a breed" How or why, I have no idea?

Its the head that puts me off buying a whole fish - its the eyes, staring at me, cold and unmoving but asking how could I even think about eating them.
I was given some frozen pet food recently and one variety was salmon. When I opened the pack, it seemed to be full of eyes - horrible. Even the dogs weren't impressed. I gave the rest away.

Sure you could get the cod cheeks if it was a cods head, never heard of salmon cheeks. The head would be very useful in making a fish stock fora seafood chowder ore a Fish stew.

I think they left the head there to show it was fresh as the eyes hadn't glazed over!
