Ever heard of Tepary beans?
Spotted them on Real Seeds https://www.realseeds.co.uk/otherbeans.html
Found some info at https://www.nativeseeds.org/collections/...epary-bean
I have so many beans that I want to grow this year that I'm not sure I'd have room for these. Interesting though.

Oooh I'm such a lemming - I've just ordered some to try, along with some of that giant tomatillo

I would normally give them a go but I am struggling to get space done for the plants I've already started. I'm only going to grow one Courgette this year... my husband will be pleased

Never heard of them but i am wary of beans that require hot dry conditions. I once tried the yard long beans from Italy which were a total failure as I couldn't give then the heat, even built a makeshift poly tunnel around them to no avail.

I was looking at them the other day while looking for the gigantic beans ( which are still in the shopping basket )
Maybe when my garden has moved. The Isle of Mull is perfect as they’re not a fan of damp conditions…………….oh wait .
Think maybe I’d grow them in a tunnel .

More to read about Tepary beans https://honest-food.net/tepary-beans-recipe/
I think its too wet here to risk buying them. Maybe when Real Seeds have grown them for a few years they will have got used to Welsh rain.

They look good for me, assuming it's going to continue getting hotter and drier, and I'm always on the look out for something that might fox the bean beetle for a year or two
