Re purposeing kitchen equipment

I have an old airfrier that still works, but not in the good enough condition to pass to a charity shop, as it has some broken parts, though safe to use, I used it to sterilise some soil, switching it on for five minutes was long enough to take the soil up to a temperature of 60c, not sure what the cost would be with using it but, will use it again when the sun is out and I have power coming from the solar panels

The airfrier works well, I have done several batches of burn sand, mixed it with some compost and have now sown some seeds into it, batch sizes for the sand compared to soil are diffrent, the sand though heavier seems to let the paddel through easier

Lovely day today, so collected a couple of bags of molehill soil and have sterilised half of it along with some burn sand, so far any soil that I have done and stored seems to be clear of any weed germination, I think I will try sterilising some old compost, though I still need to find out the cost per batch
