I had that type in the Uk too SC - it's a great variety. I have no idea what mine is now, but it isn't early! lol

Very excited to have my first bit of gravel path in the cottage garden. Still need a little more gravel to finish this little 1.6m section. But it’s a start.
Once I’d dug the turf off and levelled it. I dug a little tranch in the middle of the path. Only about 10cm deep , probably the same width. Then laid weed suppressant and started filling with gravel.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Is now here

. A tone of gravel doesn’t go very far. Luckily this is one of the largest gravel sections in the garden. The other 2 big sections are the gateway and the seating area. Hopefully a ton will seem to go further on the paths. Very pleased I got that bag emptied before the rain arrived. Which is due this afternoon.
