What are cookies

I used to work in an office with a windows PC. I used to have to shut it down about 15 minutes before going for my train. It was a lot better when you could just put it to sleep. About 2010, I got them to allow me to work from home for 3 days a week which was good. They didn't like it but the kids had finished Uni and I didn't need that much money.
