Had an odd start to the day yesterday. Short version. A trip to the bright lights of Oban with a deliberate 20 mile ride in the wrong direction to start. Don’t ask, long, not very interesting story .
Anyway while sat in a bus shelter in the middle of nowhere
I had some visitors.
Road signs are excellent scratching posts.
The rest of the herd was a bit further up the road causing chaos with the traffic as they do every day.
Actually it’s not the cows that cause the problem it’s all the tourists that stop their cars in the middle of the road to photograph them that cause the problems.

Great photos, SC. They look so cuddly, although I'm not so daft as to try it!. Anyway, what's the story - it may not be interesting to you, but I find all sorts of odd things interesting.

Forecast was unsurprisingly looking wet and I came up with the plan. In stead of being dropped at end of the road to wait for my friend in the rain. I’d get dropped off at the bus shelter in pennyghael and wait there as my friend would be driving through anyway. Turned out to be a great plan because it was very entertaining watching the mind boggling antics of tourists and the road raging frustration of locals all coming together where the cows were just doing their thing. And having the cows come say hello. I think what the cows were actually saying was get out of our bus shelter. . It usually contains sheep or a cow in bad weather. Very rarely people.

Thank you! Its a good job I'm nowhere near that bus shelter as I'd probably spend all my time watching the wildlife, both 2 & 4 legged varieties.
