Growing Different Cucumbers Together

Probably a little late to be asking this as I planted out the first five this afternoon, but I vaguely recall problems with growing different cucumbers together.
They are all open pollinated, old varieties and are growing outside.

I've no idea. I've always grown several varieties in the gh together with no problems.

Was it problems with cross-pollination and seed saving or with taste?

Taste if recall - bitterness maybe?  It was just a thought that struck while I was planting this afternoon. Huh
