Our Fire Brigade asked:-
Why can't Christmas Trees knit?
Because their needles fall off¬!
The Moneyless Chicken says:-
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

Belated Christmas wishes to ye all, sorry I missed the post yesterday but I’m celebrating in the sun 23’C having a very sunny Christmas break in Fuerteventura. Went for a Christmas Day swim in our pool, which is unheated, oops I think something’s are gone missing the water was freezing.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Belated wishes from me too!
Yesterday was very full on and I had very little time - it went in a flash! But cooking on my new cooker was an absolute dream
I hope you all had a good Christmas and spent the day as you wanted!

Though my brother will always say "fabulous Scarlet!" Whatever I serve him I think that takes the pressure off?
I find the trick is to make dishes that have a long slow cook and can be reheated if cooked early? I love a family dinner

Belated merry Christmas from me and the gang too
The day went well, with J's mum and husband coming over and I managed to somehow keep the peace between them most of the time lol
The food was great - I even got a five star rating from his parents afterwards, and J said the sprouts were the best he's ever had - perfectly cooked. lol I wouldn't know - I didn't eat any!
I hope we have a better year ahead of us and I wish you all the best health and great gardening weather
