I've got a A5 loose leaf folder that I use, I just write :-

name, date sown, where. sprouted.

It lets me know roughly when to sow the following year and when its time to give up if a seedling hasn't appeared.

I'd like something that told me what to do each day - like "on Monday 20/9 you sow carrots" and then my inner rebel would surface and say "Nobody tells me what to do" and I would ignore it........................that's more or less how I do everything.Smile

Thanks for the input everyone, at least I'm not alone in my haphazardness. I will soldier on, and in the immortal words of my form teacher 'must try harder.

PP, my produce is only supplemental, if something fails we've always got the shops. Even though most of what we grow is much nicer a failure is not a game changer, merely a disappointment. You must have been well stressed to think eating well hinged on your own gardening shoulders.

Hi Jen

I have a spreadsheet with dates but am not good at succession sowing.

This year I kept an eye on the 'what I sowed today' thread which was not only a reminder but an incentive Smile
