RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Bren - 08-07-2022 Last night pasta and meatballs in a tom sauce. Using the bag of roasted toms from last year I found hiding in the freezer. This evening fish, chips and peas. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 08-07-2022 (08-07-2022, 12:07 AM)Can the Man Wrote: Fish and chips and it’s not even Friday, well it wasn’t when we had it.Sacrilage!!!! RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Small chilli - 08-07-2022 Mexican style steak & chips with a Mexican slaw https://www.wahaca.co.uk/recipe-mexican-summer-slaw/ RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 08-07-2022 Reduced price Birdseye cod coated with pumpkin seeds? Not the prettiest of fish but at £1.00 for two fillets , can't compalin . Had it with fat chips and steamed brocolli. Whenever shopping I always buy a cheap calabrese head and had built up quite a few in the fridge, so needed to whittle down the excess! RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 08-07-2022 Yesterday was South Indian Curry Cod bake from Waitrose £7.35 or to me, FREE. Tonight 2 Waitrose Scottish salmon mini-burgers (£5.10 for 6) and some home cooked wonky mashed potatoes and carrots. All FREE apart from the sack of yellow sticker spuds. Having sampled Waitrose food I can see that its better quality and more original than Morries but sooooooo expensive. You get what you pay for (or don't pay for). RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Small chilli - 10-07-2022 Last night was a very quick & very late steak sandwich. Tonight we’re having Cumberland sausage hotdog / wrap medley type thing! RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 10-07-2022 Last night was the remainder of the Waitrose salmon burgers with courgettes (All FREE) Tonight, 2 Plant-It burgers (yellow stickered to 40p) and courgettes (40p meal). RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Bren - 11-07-2022 Yesterday garlic rosemary lamb with roast veg, kale, carrots and peas. We're having the same again today. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 11-07-2022 Paella............until I remebered it was 'Meatless Monday' so I gave Kato the bits of chicken in it! RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Small chilli - 11-07-2022 Roast beef, roast spuds, veg & gravy. No Yorkshire puddings unfortunately, no eggs in the house! |
