RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 03-07-2022 I nearly choked, reading that - you're so unkind. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 03-07-2022 17p yellow sticker diced pork done in the slow cooker with a curry mix with brown rice.Sweet was strawberries and cream from the allotment strawberry glut. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Bren - 03-07-2022 Pork and veg casserole, made a carrot cake as well. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Small chilli - 03-07-2022 Chilli & rice tonight. (Sorry Veggie) RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 03-07-2022 When people stop making fun of me, I'll worry. My "recipe" tonight was Waitrose "Melting cheese dip" (was £3.60 but, to me, Free) which I poured onto a wonky jacket potato with some garden tomatoes. The Cheese dip is a bit too rich for my taste but it does come in a cute little earthenware pot that is sure to come in handy - maybe for keeping my teeth in overnight. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 04-07-2022 Probably the tastiest plant based menu I have ever had on this Meatless Monday. Mexican style stir fry vegetables with 2 Salt & Vinegar No Fish fillets and 8 vegetable fingers. The 'piece to resistance' though was the big dollop of Habernero Mayo on the side of the plate which helped bring the flavours to life!........ Yum!!!! RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Can the Man - 04-07-2022 Potatoes and cavolo nero from the garden, fried onion beef burger and gravy. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - SarrissUK - 04-07-2022 Grilled chicken, home made fries (air fried), salad, and roasted cabbage, radishes and courgette - that was a major hit! Roasted radishes are amazing compared to the raw radish - no crunch left, no bitter pepperiness, just smooth - lovely! The cabbage got chucked in because it needed using, and because my sister surprised me with cabbage in a frying pan that was really lovely. The air fried version was just as nice, and healthier (don't tell her that!). RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 04-07-2022 Penne pasta cooked with courgettes cut to the same size. The remains of last night's cheese dip poured over it. Almost free meal as the pasta was a Savers one. |
