Yep, I have that one! Also Ancho Poblano for Mexican cooking, and Hungarian Black. I don't mind a bit of heat, but I prefer to grow for flavour - I can get bog-standard hot chillies from the supermarket if I need them. Mild varieties, not so much. RE: 2021 What I sowed today - Veggie - 05-02-2021 Sown 5 sorts of Purple Kales. RE: 2021 What I sowed today - JJB - 05-02-2021 I poked some of last year's shallots into modules of spent compost, ready for planting out when the ground is a bit drier. I put some razzamatazz chilli seeds on kitchen towel in the airing cupboard and brought a pot or two of compost inside to house prickings out under lights. I'm rapidly running out of room under the lights, heaven only knows what I'll do when the seedlings grow up. Watch out P windowsills beckon. Multi-sowed them last year with good success, apart from leeks as this is my first time growing them. Spinach multi-sown more due to the erratic germination/old seed and because I find their roots take a long time to fill up a module cell well enough to transplant properly. |
