The only thing I've ever made with tomatillos is chilli verde - https://www.seriouseats.com/pressure-cooker-fast-and-easy-chicken-chile-verde-recipe

It was really nice. Not sure why I never made it again. The rest of the fruit sat in the freezer for a year, then they might have ended up in a chutney, I can't remember.

The first time I grew them, I didn't know what to do with them and I had more than I could cope with. I gave them all away to someone who said they'd use them in a ?Mexican meal. I've tried growing them since without any luck whatsoever. I was given 3 plants this year - they're not laden but I'm picking them one at a time and adding them to stir-fries and the like. They taste like lemony white tomatoes.

I keep finding self-seeded tomatillos in pots, despite not growing them for 3 years.
