RE: The garden from scratch - Small chilli - 09-04-2021 Yes cottage garden is on the right with a hedge on the road side. You’ve got it exactly . I want to have to walk round to see what’s at the other end and in corners. Very good point about a winter/ evergreen bed , as well as dotted about. It really lets it down RE: The garden from scratch - Small chilli - 15-04-2021 Turns out I’ve got a couple of big big rocks to use in my garden . Any ideas? I’m not really a fan of rockeries. [attachment=2693] RE: The garden from scratch - Veggie - 15-04-2021 Build a wall.............or a pillar ..............or a sundial............ or mark the entrance to different areas of the plot........... RE: The garden from scratch - Vinny - 15-04-2021 Its hard to tell how big these rocks are as there is nothing for scale. I have a feeling they are very BIG and one person would struggle to pick one up? If they are as big as I think they are, you could build a mini Stonehenge circle somewhere on the plot then charge people for coming to see it! PS Are there any 'Henges' on Mull?
