RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - SarrissUK - 02-04-2022 (02-04-2022, 07:31 PM)PyreneesPlot Wrote: We made wheat tortillas (I made the dough, MrPP rolls them, while I stick them on the griddle. We make a good kitchen team!) with a load of fillings on the table to stuff and roll with - tomato sauce, refried beans, shredded left over chicken, cheese, fried spicy pumpkin, lettuce & pickled chillies. That sounds lovely too - I will need to copy that idea one of these days RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Small chilli - 02-04-2022 Take out pizza & chips and a bottle of Prosecco. Because Bob came home from collecting last nights pizza with an extra one . Lady that makes them wasn’t happy with one thought she’d over done it so made use an extra one. FYI they were all lovely. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 02-04-2022 I think I probably left my lemon chicken in the slow cooker too long. It turned out a bit like 'pulled' chicken but was still very nice with some rice, baby toms and green olives. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Bren - 03-04-2022 Braising steak, onions, garlic, carrots, celery, JA's and mushroom done in the slow cooker. Will probably have it with mash potatoes. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 03-04-2022 Have some diced steak I got for nowt in slowcooker now . Bought some rolled puff pastry yesterday and gunna try and use my yorkie tin to make some steak pies when steak is cooked? I like experimenting now and again. In case pies turn out to be a failure I have Tikka chicken thighs in oven as a back up! RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Admin - 03-04-2022 Just a salad tonight RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Small chilli - 03-04-2022 Ham & cheese risotto RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - PyreneesPlot - 03-04-2022 Casserole of merguez, tomato, haricot, pumpkin, loads of garlic & potato - easy one pot dish after a day in the garden. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 03-04-2022 Wonky jacket potato with a 10p tin of sardines. My brother rang when I was half way through eating it so, when he'd finished yabbering, I put the spud in the microwave to reheat. With a great bang, the sardines exploded and spattered the inside of the oven with miniscule pieces of smelly fish!! Take heed and learn from my mistakes - keep your sardines covered at all times!!
