RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Broadway - 29-03-2022 Rice chorizo and leftover shredded chicken RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 29-03-2022 Yesterday - yellow sticker chucnky breaded haddock with wonky chips Tonight - yellow sticker cauliflower with homemade cheese sauce. It was so nice that I've eaten a whole cauliflower. Maybe best not to come to close to me. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 30-03-2022 I recently bought a little slow cooker at the charity shop for a fiver. Tonight I am going to try my daughters favourite of pork in ginger beer? I will probably have it with rice or lentils. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Bren - 30-03-2022 Lamb bhuna yesterday, this evening we're having meat balls, pasta in a tom and veg sauce. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - SarrissUK - 30-03-2022 Roast chicken with roast potatoes, broccoli, cabbage and spruuuuts (I didn't have any - Jay had half a bag to himself *trump*) RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Small chilli - 30-03-2022 Pork steak with roasted Mediterranean veg. Followed by rhubarb and vanilla cake. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 30-03-2022 Wonky jacket potato with half a tin of Heinz curry beans (they were free with a joblot of free food some months ago). RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Bren - 31-03-2022 I fancy a pudding this evening so we're having cheese on toast followed by rice pud and jam. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - PyreneesPlot - 31-03-2022 Tuesday - left over slow roast lamb and veg pilaf. Wednesday - asparagus quiche, green salad, bread. Tonight - curry - pumpkin podima; carrot and kale with chilli & mustard seeds; dhal & paratha for a change. Usually we have naan or roti. Love this thread for inspiration RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 31-03-2022 Today, left over ginger beer pork casserole from yesterday with brocolli, including stem, and parsnips from the lottie roasted in Goose fat. Because the parsnips weren't like those you buy in the shops but were all sorts of shapes and sizes (far worse than 'wonky') they took quite a bit of preparation.Really nice though, and harkening back to the days before auld Chris Columbus brought the humble spud to our nation, and would have been all we had! |
