RE: Pea beans - Veggie - 18-02-2024 I picked up some Inca pea beans today - they're reddish brown and white.https://www.beansandherbs.co.uk/product/pea-bean/ I've come across these before, though not grown them . However, I also picked up some Tunny beans, which are also bicolour, but pale pink and cream. https://www.beansandherbs.co.uk/product/tunny-bean/ Since I'm still unclear about what a "pea bean" is, I'm sticking it on this thread. Found this article https://slightlyselfsufficient.co.uk/pea-beans/ RE: Pea beans - Small chilli - 18-02-2024 They’re both very pretty beans. I’ve never grown either. I have a massive collection of beans to try growing. RE: Pea beans - JJB - 18-02-2024 I'm a sucker for a pretty bean. None of my new varieties to grow this year are as attractive. Not got room for any more, maybe next year. Pea bean sound really interesting. I wonder if they're called pea beans just because they're short podded. |
