RE: DIY Herb Teas - Scarlet - 11-02-2023 I'm not a tea drinker... Coffee or wine for me ?but will occasionally have mint and lemon /cucumber water stored cold in the fridge for the summer. Some of those concoctions scare me a bit - theres a reason why they aren't on the supermarket shelves RE: DIY Herb Teas - Farendwoman - 11-02-2023 Coffee and wine for me too RE: DIY Herb Teas - Veggie - 11-02-2023 I've stopped drinking coffee and wine so I have to get my kicks from other things! Today is a very nice blend of (prepare yourself Scarlet) - rosehip peels, spruce needles. daisies, strawberry leaves, peppermint, blackberry leaves, sage, milkwort leaves and linden flowers. Is this your own concoction or a pre-packaged item? RE: DIY Herb Teas - Veggie - 11-02-2023 Its Pre-packaged - was given to me with the other odd herbal teas. RE: DIY Herb Teas - SarrissUK - 12-02-2023 Rosehip is such a lovely flavour I need to buy more rosehip soup when I go back to Sweden RE: DIY Herb Teas - Scarlet - 12-02-2023 Omg.... back to my rosé RE: DIY Herb Teas - JJB - 12-02-2023 Rosehip soup??!! I remember rosehip syrup as a kid but soup, no. RE: DIY Herb Teas - SarrissUK - 12-02-2023 It's a sweet soup, more like a fruit sauce, I suppose lol Or compote! We'd have it as a snack in Sweden, or as a sweet pud after dinner in the evening. We do a blueberry soup too, in the same vein - that is gorgeous too RE: DIY Herb Teas - SarrissUK - 12-02-2023 Here's a bit of history, along with an easy to make recipe, without having to fiddle with removing the seeds https://swedishspoon.com/rosehip-soup/ |
