RE: Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night! - Jay - 23-06-2020 Oh Bren, I wish I could...all we have is rain, rain, rain!! Morning all, not sure what to do, maybe get the ironing board out as it’s a lot cooler this morning...did I mention it’s wet too? Anyhoo, enjoy your day and enjoy the sunshine if you have it! x RE: Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night! - Curly - 23-06-2020 Lucky you it's heavy rain here and has been heavy over night RE: Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night! - Veggie - 23-06-2020 Its very sunshiny here ..................just saying! RE: Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night! - JJB - 23-06-2020 Here too. Bit 'ot. We're due 30° by Thursday, not my idea of fun. I had to go to work today for the first time since lockdown. Bit strange earning my salary for a change. Tea in the garden with pals this afternoon so no gardening today folks. RE: Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night! - SarrissUK - 23-06-2020 Hi all, I finally feel like I can get my nose above water today. It's been a hell-ish few weeks at work and I feel like I just disappeared in all the stress. Massive progress at work last week though, and I'm riding that wave this week. I spent two days at the allotment at the weekend, went for a long walk on the beach on Sunday and LOVED it. Got home and within five minutes it was heaving it down, rain, hail, thunder you name it. I have attempted to take next week off work, but I might not be able to, so maybe the week after. I'm well overdue a bit of relaxation. And I so want to get on top of the allotment. Getting there! RE: Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night! - Jay - 25-06-2020 Morning...just! It’s a beautiful day here, we were expecting thunderstorms this afternoon but having had a look at the weather they seem to have disappeared Think another lazy day in the garden as it looks like rain all next week! Finally get to travel more than 5 miles from home from next Friday so may get to Ayrshire for the weekend...it’s been 4 months since we have been, goodness knows what the weeds are doing there! Hope you all have a lovely day! x RE: Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night! - JJB - 25-06-2020 Shopping day today but will continue working on putting greenhouse base in situ, in the heat RE: Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night! - Bren - 25-06-2020 It’s been my shopping day as well JJB I leave home at the same time walking over to the supermarket but this week there seemed to be more people about that usual. It must be with the other shops now being open not that anyone was in them. Jay our thunderstorms are due tomorrow not till late afternoon do not to bad. Best make the most of the sunshine. RE: Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night! - Veggie - 26-06-2020 Happy Friday Gan'G. Its a lot cooler today, cloud cover but doesn't look like rain. The thunderstorms must have ignored us and moved on. Maybe they'll be back later - need some rain again. However, cooler weather means being a bit more active in the garden, rather than lurking under trees out of the sun. Friday is for Flowers so I may sow a few seeds, or take some cuttings or roam around - just looking! Have a good day, whatever you're doing. RE: Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night! - Broadway - 26-06-2020 Morning all, Been up since 2am, too blo*** hot last night. So far 2 x water runs to the plot. also rescued a pigeon from a neighbours netted RB. Prescription run this morning then some strimming at the plot. Rest of the day will be spent with youngest as he is off back to London tomorrow. Have fun folks...... |
