RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 24-02-2022 Did I mention that I bought 10 tins of sardines in tomato sauce in Morries reduced to 10p each? Tonight's meal was a wonky jacket potato with a tin of sardines on top. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - JJB - 25-02-2022 It's the day after shopping day so tonight it's yellow stickered summat. I haven't killed P off yet so I think he's immune to food poisoning. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Small chilli - 25-02-2022 Back to doing our own cooking tonight. Very disappointing. As I'm not very hungry after last night’s feast we’ll be having sweet potato & chickpea soup. Followed by a pudding. Only because we couldn’t manage it all last night. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - SarrissUK - 25-02-2022 Eggs, chips and beans for us today - we have loads of eggs from the chickens, bacon in the fridge, and tinned cherry tomatoes, so that will end up on the plate too RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Bren - 25-02-2022 Sarriss we also had chips this evening with fish and mushy peas. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 25-02-2022 Wonky jacket potato and cheap tuna in mayonnaise. In case you haven't guessed, wonky jacket potato is my fallback meal when I can't think of anything else or be bothered to cook! RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Scarlet - 25-02-2022 I love jacket spuds! Best meal ever with sardines, Mayo and lettuce. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 25-02-2022 I thought of you, Scarlet, when I bought all the tins of sardines reduced to 10p. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 26-02-2022 (25-02-2022, 11:44 PM)Veggie Wrote: I thought of you, Scarlet, when I bought all the tins of sardines reduced to 10p.I love sardines and have quite a few tins of them in the house. I must admit I have never had them in a jacket potato though and usually mash them and bung em on toast. Will have to try with jacket potato as it sounds like a cheap and tasty meal. I reckon grated cheese on top of it would be tasty as well! RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Can the Man - 26-02-2022 Homemade chicken rogan with basmati rice and garlic and coriander nan (shop bought). |
