Spec just think of 2 of the biggest brands in the world and both are based on Irish dairy - Kerrygold and Baileys. I rest my case  Tongue   Big Grin

Whilst there's some butter better than others........I'll eat any butter in chunks without anything, but preferably really salty on warm new bread with the butter probably thicker than the bread. P says my predilection for dairy is probably clogging up my arteries well and proper.
I don't think Wiltshire make a butter I can brag about though.

So when someone asks for a Baileys, they want a glass of butter???  Huh

Isn't it in Tibet or Nepal they put butter in their tea Sad I can't imagine going that far though.

Not too sure the yak would be too impressed with my efforts either. Off topic : My mum once brought me back from the Himalayas a jacket made from yak hair. When damp it stank and shed cream hair over everything it touched. P wasn't too impressed with yak hairs all over his dark blue suit. (We were courting in those days and tended to get slightly closer to each other than we do nowBig Grin)

Having said that, the best butter I ever had was in west wales but I had milked the cow and then churned the bloody stuff by hand ...

And in Mongolia I think they might prefer fermented horse butter in their tea. Or perhaps it was just yogurt?

I think it was Mongolia I had in mind PP.   Whatever country it sounds yuk.... not yak.
