I haven't heard from you recently so assume that everything at the Salisbury Hospital is under control during these busy times. Perhaps you could give us a situation report.
Dr Chilli and I are always interested in learning from other hospitals.
I have copied this memo to our many respected colleagues and hope that they will find the time to update us too.

Dear Dr's Veggie & Chilli
Updates may resume when I see some progress in the patients. Although I have emphasised the benefits of fresh healthy air in the sanatorium, many are reluctant to venture outside due to weather conditions. At present I am trialling treatment by horse faeces and humus to which I'm hoping the patients won't object too strongly.

Dear Dr’s Veggie M.D & Bee
The emergency ward here at the island infirmary has been ridiculously busy today with many patients. From the recent barrow blow out. Unfortunately a few didn’t make it. A lot of others have broken limbs and serious bruises. These patients have been treated and are now in the recovery ward. A couple of patients got away with just involuntarily compost release and label misplacement. These have also been treated and sent home.
The barrow engineer has been out and hopefully rectified this issue. So this situation will not happen again.

Grace has had her first day at the island infirmary today. Well she is a master at the hospital corner, isn’t she. She is a delight to have here. Very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all the patients and worried relatives.
Hope to report back when she’s on the delivery ward.

So pleased that Grace is settling in . I shared her story with the Real Grace today as I took her shopping. She was flattered and amused but said that they don't do hospital corners any more!! Your Grace must be trying to impress.
