It’s like most nursery rhymes they have gruesome warnings generally. It is believed that ring a ring of rosies origins are associated with the Black Death. Referring to a rosy red rash, people carried posies of herbs in their pockets to ward of the disease, and the sneezing was the last and fatal symptom. Who’s to say if this is accurate but, it’s pretty dark!!
