A chiffchaff seems to have taken up residence outside the window and the dulcet tone of a wood pigeon says were coming to get you. RE: 2025 - Good morning, afternoon and good night! - Veggie - 23-05-2025 I'v3 found some odd things in the garden but never something like this! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy8nk279ydyo RE: 2025 - Good morning, afternoon and good night! - JJB - 24-05-2025 (23-05-2025, 05:35 PM)Veggie Wrote: I'v3 found some odd things in the garden but never something like this! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy8nk279ydyoOne way to get deliveries I suppose ![]() RE: 2025 - Good morning, afternoon and good night! - Mark_Riga - 21-06-2025 Warm and sunny this morning. I went to Ireland for just over a week recently and travelled round a bit by car. Drove about 700 miles on motorways, A roads and country lanes - and didn't see one pothole. RE: 2025 - Good morning, afternoon and good night! - Mark_Riga - 30-07-2025 Good evening all, I came across this on the BBC about a reduced harvest of peas this year: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9dg2ll5172o My harvest was only minimally reduced and I still have to collect the dried peas when they are ready though mainly for planting next year. I wonder what other crops may be suffering? I know winter cereals were suffering round these parts. RE: 2025 - Good morning, afternoon and good night! - Veggie - 31-07-2025 Its a been a very odd year, weather-wise - and probably a sign of what the future holds. Hope this article doesn't spark panic buying with shoppers emptying the freezer cabinets of peas - not that I often buy them. Frozen peas are low on my list of desirable veg. RE: 2025 - Good morning, afternoon and good night! - Small chilli - 31-07-2025 Random question. Can anyone remember what spud varieties I grew last year? For some unknown reason I don’t seem to of made a note of it in any of the usual places. I’m fairly sure I’d of bored you lot with the information at some point ![]() RE: 2025 - Good morning, afternoon and good night! - Veggie - 31-07-2025 Were they "funny" ones - blue/purple? And 1 seed of everything else on the list will also go into potato bags they’ll be in mixed varieties. Because I have no idea which is which. This is what you grew in 2023. |
