Now you're talking................ Big Grin Big Grin

If you had to rely on what you caught/grew yourself, would you be well fed?
I'd be more like Olive Oyl than Popeye! Big Grin

I've sown some spinach recently, it's about 2 inches tall. Cool Hopefully I'll get a crop before the Autumn! Rolleyes

Spinach isn't meat so you can't eat it on your diet. Tongue

I can't eat goosegogs or strawberries either, but I do at the plot! Smile I eat 97% carnivore, but I aint anal about not being 100%. I can't eat liver or mince without a bit of onion either! I class onion & garlic as 'flavouring', not a veg! Rolleyes I use fresh lemon juice to 'flavour' my drinking water which keeps my gut acidity right and gives me a bit of vitamin C. Cool

I've always figured psychologically that if it doesn't go on a plate it doesn't get 'counted'.  Biscuits and chocolate on the hoof and cheese during meal prep is a great way to cheat  Big Grin
No wonder I don't lose weight as quickly as I think I ought.

When preparing cheese, have you noticed how the block keeps needing to be squared off before it can go back in the fridge?

Oh most definitely  and if there's a new cheese I haven't tried in the shop  I've just got to try it.  The amount of money I've wasted on cheese that I didn't like must be astronomical.

I don't dislike ANY cheese. My  favourite is Gorgonzola or what I used to call 'sweaty socks' cheese when my Dad used to eat it! Big Grin Kato's favourite is mild coloured chedder cos he's a wuss! Rolleyes
