OK I'm pretty sure now that it's a periwinkle after all. It must just be some non-flowering version.

Maybe its been cut back and is growing leaves before it flowers?

So I'm not optimistic about this year. But you never know! Every plant deserves a chance.

A friend set this blue flower for me identify. It's growing in a natural woodland cemetary. My first thoughts were either scilla sibericus or chionodoxa or a mutant bluebell.
You're the experts, can you help?

It seems that Chionodoxa are part of the Scilla family. I'd guess at Chionodoxa too. Its not a bluebell.
