RE: Identify this plant? - Veggie - 24-01-2022 Here's one I prepared earlier https://gardenandgossip.org/attachment.php?aid=4200 RE: Identify this plant? - MartinH - 24-01-2022 OK I'm pretty sure now that it's a periwinkle after all. It must just be some non-flowering version. RE: Identify this plant? - Veggie - 24-01-2022 Maybe its been cut back and is growing leaves before it flowers? So I'm not optimistic about this year. But you never know! Every plant deserves a chance. RE: Identify this plant? - MartinH - 14-03-2022 [attachment=4500] Everybody was correct. RE: Identify this plant? - Veggie - 14-03-2022 You have my sympathy. RE: Identify this plant? - SarrissUK - 14-03-2022 Oh yeah - I found one of them next to the chicken house yesterday! So pretty RE: Identify this plant? - JJB - 04-04-2022 A friend set this blue flower for me identify. It's growing in a natural woodland cemetary. My first thoughts were either scilla sibericus or chionodoxa or a mutant bluebell. You're the experts, can you help? [attachment=4561] RE: Identify this plant? - Veggie - 04-04-2022 It seems that Chionodoxa are part of the Scilla family. I'd guess at Chionodoxa too. Its not a bluebell. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scilla_sect._Chionodoxa RE: Identify this plant? - JJB - 04-04-2022 Sounds good, glory of the snow it is. I can appear all knowing to my pal, although in fairness I did say I was going to ask the experts. |
