RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 26-12-2022 B. Granola (10p) and YS Lemon Curd yogurt (10p) L. Celery sticks filled with Peanut butter (10p) and banana D. Prawn Roses (filo pastry) and Truffle Mac & Cheese Bites. Total cost = 30p RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - JJB - 26-12-2022 Tomorrow night I'm going out to a games evening, so P will have leftovers a home but I'll be pigging out on party food. I think my contribution will be a chocolate roulade RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Small chilli - 26-12-2022 Pretty much a reply of yesterday’s meal. For us this evening. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - SarrissUK - 26-12-2022 We went to Jay's mum's yesterday and the food was lovely She'd done both turkey and beef and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had friends over today, so had lots from a Swedish Christmas dinner, buffet style, and my south african friend brought a boneless leg of mutton. Bloody lovely. I was so stuffed it hurt for a while. No room for pudding, so I will have that for breakfast tomorrow, which is my first day where I can choose whatever I want to do! Yay! I'm going to spend it in the garden, if it's not raining. If it's raining, it will be catching up on paperwork before going to see Avatar 2 at the cinema RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Bren - 27-12-2022 Making a shepherd's pie to use up the last of the lamb. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Scarlet - 27-12-2022 Well I often have my brother and family for dinner after my neighbours leave on Christmas day... they always pop over for fizz and nibbles at lunch, then my family turn up at 3... I didnt ask my brother this year - i have been a bit shattered and felt I needed ti pur my feet up instead of rushing around cooking a huge dinner. I bought a small chicken as was not going to pay thise inflated prices for a turkey....neighbours came at 11.30.... they left at 6pm, thankfully son no2 cooked the chicken with a huge pan of roasted veg and stuffing I had a lovely day even if I was a little hungover yesterday. Yesterday I did rib of beef, dauphinois potatoes and veg ( sons request) no left overs.... thats what happens when you have kids!! I didnt even make a Christmas pudding this year.... but thoroughly enjoyed what we had! Sardines for breakfast this morning RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Vinny - 27-12-2022 Christmas Turkey dinner part deux today. This time I remembered the red cabbage and apple I had made but forgotten to put on plate the first time! The reason for the days break was that I had rack of lamb at my Sons yesterday. RE: 2022 - Tonight's recipe - Veggie - 28-12-2022 B. Sourdough toast with banana L. Shredded Iceberg lettuce with beetroot and a Sour cream & Chive dip D. More lettuce with Avocado, Hummus and more Sourcream & Chive dip This may be the Menu for the next few days - all FREE. |
