Understandably Danny, also shift work isn't easy, but you gave it a try. I would hate to have to find work at my age, but you're a lot younger. Best of luck.

One of the guys at the allotment seems to have a new/different job each week.
I asked him how he was getting on at his most recent job and he told me he quit. When I asked him why he said it was because "They didn't include me when they went for a Macdonalds at lunch time!"

Amazon is particularly bad, I believe. Even supermarkets are squeezing staff more and more trying to reduce their costs to compete with Aldi/Lidl, cutting staff numbers and expecting the remaining workers to do more work for the same pay.

Finished 2nd strawberry plot, also tidied the asparagus bed and mulched with a layer of comfrey.
