I sowed some of Mamzie's melon seeds and planted one in the gh.  It's got 3 or 4 stems I've got 2 trailing and 2 climbing. Some small melon fruit are forming.  What do I do next?

Anyone bother to freeze chard?  Do you have to blanch first?

I know that some of you use wedding favour gift bags for bagging seed heads. Never having been to a wedding where these things were used, and having goggled them and found a multitude of colours, sizes & types - can you advise me on which are the best ones to buy please?

Hi Chilli people, based on the size I've seen sliced Jalapeno in jars or on pizzas  am I right in saying these are about ready to pick or do I leave to grow bigger or show some sign of ripening? The variety was named as Early Jalapeno.
Biggest ones are about 3" long and 1" wide. Will they get hotter if I leave them on and be milder if i picked earlier?

There are lots of threads with similar titles - ID this, ID that............so, to make it easier to look back, I've been adding the ?plant names to the titles.
Perhaps, when you can confirm that the guesses are correct/wrong, you could add to your thread. Your photos may help others.

OK so it's that time of year and I'm starting to bring in the black currant harvest. Looks like a good crop this year. Does anyone have any fail safe recipes or ideas to do with them that will save me from teaching the 3 year old to make jam as that seems like it could get fraught.

Quite a tall thing. Very upright not a sprawled.
