Sadly my career doesn't allow that right now. I'm tied to my current location for the next few years at least. Unlike some of the London types currently moving out to the country, I can't do my job remotely!

I do intend to move a bit further out of the city in the future (and should be able to get more for my money then), but need to stay central until I've completed training.
What about this https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/1...el=RES_BUY
Not very exciting to look at but they like their garden. Not a huge garden but big enough I would think. No idea about travelling times or even if I'm in the right area!

Right city, but not a great spot for public transport!
How are your driving lessons doing?

I can't get any as the instructors don't have any spaces and all have waiting lists of several months.
Sorry to hear that, Pros.
I'm still waiting on confirmation that the application for grant of probate has been submitted so my solicitor can try to figure out what kind of timescale we could be looking at. I had basically made my peace with having to wait a while longer, but there have been vague noises about completion still maybe being possible by the end of the year so I decided to hold on.

This evening, I had a property alert email from Rightmove. The estate agent has relisted the house for sale. Nobody has even hinted that this was being considered, so I don't know whether this is a stupid mistake that someone has made or they are genuinely trying to secure a new buyer. If the latter, then I am done.
If your offer was accepted, then isn't that gazumping?? Sorry to hear of yet more troubles Pros.
Thankfully the estate agents have confirmed it was an error. However, I think I have aged about 10 years overnight!
You do look a lot younger today, Pros. Wink
So many people making "errors" along the way. What a shower!
