Just been out now before it goes dark to see what veggies were still about. Some nice broccoli (once I've washed the whiteflies off), a few parsnips and carrots and found the mice had left a dozen or so brussels for us. They have bitten the top right off one plant.
I managed to stay awake for about two hours this morning and then slept until just before sunset.

I've just had my Christmas dinner (two slices of toast with butter) that I couldn't taste at all. Now I'm thinking about going back to sleep!

Glad to hear the rest of you are having nicer days, even if they aren't necessarily the Christmases you would be having under normal circumstances.

Make us thankful for our health, Proserpina, I do hope it doesn't last too long.

We've eaten, dozed, washed and cleared up, now vegging out.
Pros, take good care of yourself and hurry back to the real world!!.
I also had toast for lunch, with beans and a couple of leftover veggie sausages to make it "special"Wink.
That's Christmas finished now and I can get back to playing with seeds again.
Good evening, wishing everyone a good Christmas even if it not what you expected I hope it has been peaceful, Pros. I do pray that you make a complete and speedy recovery thinking of you and thankful for you and everyone who cares for others God bless
Evening Smile just come to have a quick peep while the veg cooks.

Take care Pros xx
Just got back from the neighbours. Had a beautiful meal, roast goose with everything followed by Christmas pudding for the grown ups ( Bob & One of our hosts) , chocolate bomb for the kids ( me & our other host ). We got a stunning homemade table lamp made from red deer antler and the lampshade made from feathers. Will take photos tomorrow in better light. It’s going to look great in our new house.
Sounds amazing! I can't imagine it at all. Hurry up with the photos. Smile
