I'm sure there will be a lull in preparation/dining at some point so I'll be along too, if only for some light relief from the dire telly and P in a silly hat, especially if I hit the sherry early.

Ok, we'll be more positive - You are definitely the exception to the rule that Old is best.
Looks like Santa has been early. There’s a couple of presents under the tree that weren’t there before I went in the kitchen. Definitely homemade & probably wood. He’s been in his workshop for day’s after work.
It’s a bit of a bugger really. I’ve not got him anything because we’re not doing the Christmas present thing until the house is built! I’m looking forward to opening them
