Veggie, I think you're one of the few not disappointed this Xmas, along with P & I.  It must be a roller coaster ride for some.  My pal was driving to Yorkshire for the 3 days, a round trip of 9 hrs, not worth doing for the one day.  Shame as her dad is 93 and may not make it to next Xmas.  A lot of people in the same boat.
I spy mommy kissing Santa Claus Underneath the Christmas tree. The Uncooked turkey and ham are in the fridge, and the Underwear presents are all wrapped.
I spy vomit!
Not very Christmassy but that’s what greeted me when I came downstairs this morning  Rolleyes .

On a more Christmassy note velvet fabric to protect my furniture from scratchie Christmas tree feet.
I spy Very Very sparkly things
I spy various items on my shopping list.
From a Vantage point above the Valley I spy Various Vertical trees of the fir Variety Vested in Varicoloured lights.
^^^ Very Verbose Smile
I SPY a Variety of Vegetables to make Various Vegetarian Viands and a Vintage Vase of Vivid Verbena.
^^^ such Verisimilitude
^^^ A Veritable Volcano of Vocabularianism.Smile
^^^Oooooh that's good. Who had a dictionary for breakfast  Big Grin

Veggie does this remind you of the 'old time music hall' compère?  Of course I only remember the re-enactments on TV, I expect you were there at the real thing.........as Spec would say  Tongue
