Door No. 3 is Aconite.
Makes note to self to not lick fingers ...
Behind Door 4 I've found:-
Zanthoxylum simulans / szechuan pepper
Not holding my breath with these as the instructions say "May require up to 3 months cold stratification, though scarification may also help. Sow in a cold frame as early in the year as possible. Germination should take place in late spring, though it might take another 12 months."
I'll let you know next December is there's any germination - remind me.
EDIT - having read this
https://www.burncoose.co.uk/site/content...wing+Guide I'm almost hoping they don't grow! Don't like spiny things (except hedgehogs and echidna).
Door No. 4 is pink hellebore seeds collected by my mum from her garden before she moved out. Who knows if they'll actually be pink?!
Door 4 Helipterum roseum 'sensation giants'
Door 5 limmonium (?sp) pink pokers
Door number 4 tall marigolds, variegated. If anyone has an idea what variety this is, I’d be interested. That’s all that my friend wrote on the seed packet. Weather was a little rough yesterday for seed sowing.
Door number 5 mixed hollyhocks
