I haven't had a chance to look through it yet. I usually like reading  historical fiction but was given 'The Clan of the Cave Bear' at Chrimbo and am reading about Neanderthals which I am enthralled with at the mo! This is only the first book in a set of six, so I may be some time yet!

I read that years ago - big book as I remember it. Still have it on the bookshelf and another in the series. I'll read them again soon since you've reminded me. .

If you follow mr Fothergill’s on Facebook you might of seen they’re doing a quiz to find out what sort of gardener you are. They offer you free seeds at the end if you fill your details in. No idea if it’s 1 packet or 10 or if it’s flowering or edible. But it’s free seeds.

Did the quiz and I am apparently a "garden whisperer". I'll take it.

I wonder which seeds they send out. I shall report back once received.

I'ma whisperer as well!  The question about garden centres threw me as I usually head to the 'Reduced items' shelves to see if I can pickup a bargain!
