Thanks Tommy - definitely worth a try then.
Bit the bullet and bought some.
I figured that it would be good enough for potting on established plants - even if no good for seedlings and tiny plants.
Here’s two pictures of it - one indoors in shade and one outdoors in sunshine.
It’s very light and fibrous to the touch. Bag says 35-50% peat.
^^^ What I call "Fluffy stuff". You have to keep an eye on watering as it dries out quickly, as I remember it.
That’s good then.
I’m a real heavy handed watered. Lose far more to drowning than drought.
Can’t figure out the bill for the compost.
Was supposed to be 3 for £30 less 20%.
However, somehow I got it for £22.
I think they took the 20% off the pack price (£10.36) and then 20% off the total bill.
Whatever - I feel that I had a little win.
Btw the 20% off ends tomorrow (Sunday) if anyone is tempted.
Anyone bought pre planted hanging baskets from Sutton’s? £8 for 35cm 21 day delivery…is it worth it?
Nope - our place is always too bl**dy windy for hanging baskets!
Jay, I wouldn't buy them from Suttons - they're part of T&M - say no more. Wink
Thanks!! I’ll give it a miss!!

FEW, you think you have wind. My wee auntie bought me an egg chair which I finally put together…weighs a ton. Was down the other end of the garden this morning!!
Hope you weren't sitting in it, Jay. Big Grin
