I came out into the shed after work this evening to find that loads of my seeds that I sowed at the weekend have germinated! In fact, my courgette Atena polka is 10cm tall already! Maybe some trombos too! I quickly shifted them to the conservatory as that is light, but not too warm and away from that very warm heat mat in the shed Smile
The beetroot, penstemon, sunflowers, Mesembryanthemum Harlequin and lots of kale had also germinated. What an amazing feeling it is when your seeds show signs of life Smile
My peony and pineapple mint are both coming back. I thought I’d lost them.
Sorry to be repetitive, but rain again! It's been a long drought.
I had a friend visit today - she's one of those ones Wink, you dont have to clean up, she arrived when i was still in my PJs, made coffee when i went off for a shower. We then spent an hour going around tge garden discussing shrubs lost, then into the greenhouse and it was all about compost. For the best part of the day we sat with gardening books and discussed plants - a really nerdy day. You don't get many of those.
Sounds fab Scarlet.
So does your lovely friend!
That's the sort of friends I like to have visit.
I wish I had a friend.
We’re ALL your friends, Martin.
Just such a shame that we can’t all visit!

Martin would soon change his mind.  Be careful what you wish for. Big Grin
Flower buds starting to form on my first tub of Kestrel early potatoes. Won't be long now!
