My Little Shop was offering free tasting of Strawberries and raspberries that will be available soon.  Pick your own while you browse the displays.
So nice, I could have wandered around all day but the shopkeeper started to wave his arms about and shout "Eh, you, there's a limit of 2 free samples per customer".
Tomorrow, I'll go back, disguised as a chicken!
My little shop has got me mixed up with a pigeon.(eek) Confused

All that's on offer is Spring Cabbage. Rolleyes Big Grin
The Shopkeeper winked, put his finger to his lips and made a ssshushing noise  when he saw me today.
I followed him as discreetly as I could and he led me to the raspberry aisle. There, gleaming like rubies, were the first summer raspberries.
"Fill your punnet" he said "we charge by the punnet". (Funny word "punnet". Is it a little Pun?).

Needless to say, I ate as I picked as did my trusty companions, Mrs Chicken, Bess and her 2 boys, Spud and Ted.
Please don't tell the Shopkeeper or he may not let me have first dibs next time.
My little shop is about to have its first strawberries of the season either tomorrow the day after. I’d Best Buy some ice cream Smile
There's a promise of broad beans on the shelf soon around here
My shopkeeper gave me cabbage and strawberries yesterday, today I got carrots
There was a theft from my little shop today. A large yeti type creature helped himself to 2 strawberries  Rolleyes .
My little shop closed down for several years as the proprietor wanted to explore other markets. Fortunately she decided she missed the vegetable trade and has posted in the window to say she'll be reopening in a couple of months, weather permitting. I must say that seeing all the vans drive up and unload mysterious seed packets has me on tenterhooks!
Freshly picked strawberries on the shelves today. Managed to snap them up before any other customers arrived.
First proper bowl of strawberries for 2020. Smile
My shop won’t have any red onions this year, the onions planted out in the garden were attacked by some bird or animal.
