It really annoys me when something comes with a "lifetime guarantee" and when you read the small print it is actually 10 years. Whose lifetime is that, then? Not even the lifetime of a well cared for dog!

Reminds me what I heard on the radio last week. Someone was ringing the supermarket complaining about a bag for life they had bought recently that was already starting to fall apart. The person replied that they were very sorry. Then went on to explain, however, that they were very accurate - and asked whether he had his affairs in order.
This thread just shows that there are some odd people about Rolleyes I suppose it's just as well we are all diffrent, it wouldn't do for everyone to be as perfect as m.......

Spec, are you saying you're old! Heaven forfend! Or perhaps saying everyone else is old? Smile

Am I the only one who has 3 Baby Changing Tables, 2 Baby Baths, a Cot and a child's Playhouse in their garden but doesn't know one end of a baby from the other?

I don't have any baby items but I do have a collection of Doll houses, 6 in my craft room, 2 in sitting room,  1 on landing, 4 in a upstairs sitting room, then couple shoved in a cupboard.  Most  have been built by me and MrB the rest are  old houses in various states of repair.
Collecting Doll's Houses qualifies as "different", Bren.
Let's test it!! Hands up everyone who has more than 10 Doll's Houses in their home. Big Grin

For some reason this reminded me of my granny, and she would be very old if she was still alive. One of her sayings was "Everyone's queer 'cept you and me - and even thar's a little queer." Does sound the saame generation.
Mine used to say that too - she'd be 130 now!!
I have to admit mum was a dolls house collector, she had in excess of 10 and perhaps half a dozen room boxes and cupboards and cupboards of dolls house items. I used to make the oils clothes and carpeting. Never really caught the bug though, it can be all encompassing especially if you specialise in a particular era and are a stickler for accuracy. Mum concentrated on 1850.

So you're not that strange Bren.
