The leaves look very strokeable and its edible.
There's info about the Common Mallow at https://www.eatweeds.co.uk/mallow-malva-sylvestris and many of the mallow family seem to be edible. May grow a few of them next year to do some taste testing.
The vegetable mallow looks interesting and it says it is tasty. Of what I wonder? Looks kinda like a curly kale / spinach cross?
