Hi DaiWig , welcome to g&g.
Can’t help with the hotbed. I’m sure someone will have some knowledge about the subject. I am a fan of polytunnels . It’s were I spend most of my time   . 

What do you grow in yours?

Hi Small Chilli
Its my man cave so spend as much time in there as possible! Bumper crop of tomatoes (about 13kg) this year and about 50 cucumbers from 3 plants = tons of pickles and chutneys. Also grow usual salad stuff (I've got seedlings about 2 tall growing at the moment) and spuds in a raised bed outside. I only grow what we'll eat as lesson learned from last year. Oh, and stawberries in hanging baskets too. Loved every minute of lockdown!
