Not tweezers you must not squash them. Ask the Vet for the Tic Twisters. I also think it is going to be a bad year for the b*******s! I have taken lots off the cats already not to mention more than one off me!

My old dad always used iodine on the tick, it caused the tick to shrivel up and die and then head and body could be brushed off the animal.
My wife had Lyme disease and was not diagnosed for several years, we think she may have caught it in Singapore or Thailand when we were on holiday, it took over 2 years of treatments with antibiotics and various other homeopathic treatments to get rid of it. She suffered from sever fatigue for years, still suffers some with it, but I think the current fatigue is Covid related, she had it twice despite being vaccinated.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Sounds horrendous Can, I'll keep an eye out for ticks.

Always have your trousers tucked into your sock, and keep your arms covered, wear light coloured clothes they are easier to spot when they jump of the vegetation onto clothes looking for blood and skin
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.
