Round to the neighbours for fish, chips & onion rings.
They caught the biggest fish today,  so they cooked  Big Grin . I filled the fish and provided pudding.

Yesterday we had Rosemary, Garlic Lamb, roast potatoes/parsnips/onions with carrots, cabbage and peas.

Having the same today and by the looks of it there'll be plenty of roasties to freeze.

Whilst weeding at the allotment today I came a cross some nice looking leeks which were just starting to bolt. I brought half a dozen home then wondered what to do with them?
I found this recipe online which looks nice and I will probably add a few boiled eggs as extra protein.

https://www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/ve...sed-leeks/

I have just cut out the central core and chopped up leeks (green included). I didn't want to experiment but reckon the central core would be ok as people eat garlic scapes which basically are bolted garlic?

All leeks washed and prepared for tomorrows meal anyway. I'm looking forward to it and the house stinks of leeks! Big Grin
