I never have. But wondering if I should. Especially as they are in a container (fish box ). Then I wondered what to feed them? Do I use my home made sheep daggings liquid feed or tomato feed or something else?

The conclusion seems to be that harvesting the little blighters is the problem. 
Has anyone tried growing lentils?

At the Seed Swap I picked up some anonymous beans. All they could tell me about them was, that they were not Broad Beans and they thought they might be too old to germinate. Now I'm a sucker for orphan seeds so I picked up a handful and brought them home. 
I've had a bit of a DuckDuck and found something similar but, before I say what I think they are, I'm going to ask the Panel for your thoughts.

Turns out Lima beans don’t like the frozen north. Less than 1ft tall and still not flowered. I’m going to take a stab in the dark here and say, I’m probably not going to get a crop off them   . 

To be fair to the Lima’s none of my beans outside have done very well this year. But I will harvest something from all the other varieties.]]>

I’m not convinced that’s going to be possible for me.  In the past they have just rotted on the plant because isn’t always so wet / damp / humid.
