My Mum & I both had our booster covids and 'flu jabs yesterday. I've not had a 'flu jab before as I seldom catch 'flu and only ever have a mild dose, but if it helps protect others, then OK, I'll have it.

I think that shows you're a spring chicken compared to many of us SC  . It's a relief when you get it isn't it? I'm wondering whether to cry off plans to go to lunch and shopping with the girls next week, purely because of the reported infection rates of the new strain.

I had my booster on Thursday too. I'd just hit my six-month mark when they decided everyone could have it at three months! Seeing as I'd spent Monday and Tuesday in a tiny office with two people who had positive lateral flow tests on Wednesday, I decided to crack on at the next opportunity!
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!

According to worldometer, in the Holy See of the Vatican City there have been no cases of covid since 20th October 2020. Yesterday in Italy in general there were 184,615 new cases. Either God is protecting his own, or someone is telling porkies....

Here we go again - Covid Jab No 4 this morning. Don't have to go to Splott this time but to my GP's in house pharmacy. Shame really, as I know my way to Splott now.

I was offered a booster jab but would have to travel 20 miles to a place I had never been before to get it! 
I recently had a flu jab at my local doctors and they told me they would be doing the covid jabs there eventually and would let me know when.
